an[other] storyteller!

Documentary filmmaker, photographer, and educator.
Based in Toronto. Working internationally.

s part of my documentary filmmaking journey, I have been a witness to many remarkable tales. From the last mile remote villages of Pakistan to the urban metros of Canada, I have found stories that are universal in their relevance and have presented them from unique perspectives, in multiple formats.

I love what I do, the experiences and interactions it offers. People, places, cultures; how they vibrate, what they conceal, what they reveal, and what they create. Being a witness, a listener, a confidant. And being a participant, a student, a teacher. I dwell in all these roles, moving from one into the other, like a dance, a melody, a play.

Teaching is not a discipline for me, it is a calling. I find that making something teachable, is where deeper understanding of one’s own work truly happens. Where discoveries are made, and where a practice is fully realized. I love to teach, and I love to learn. And I have learnt the most from teaching.

In my journey, I have witnessed that people, no matter where in the world, are deeply interconnected. But not all of us are aware of it. My focus as a multidisciplinary storyteller is to reveal that which is obvious, yet hidden beneath our apathy. I design interactions and environments that can help us to see clearly, and feel deeply, how intertwined our lives are, and how every choice impacts every outcome.

I am an[other] storyteller.

His work does not merely depict transitions; it inhabits them. The result is not documentation as static record, but as a dynamic field of attunement, wherein the observed and the felt coalesce.
